Founded in 2017, Gateway Valuation Consulting is led by a CFA Charterholder, CPA, and ABV with more than 20 years of valuation experience. We have completed engagements for companies ranging from small closely held businesses to mid-market firms. This experience ensures that every valuation is both technically sound and practical for real-world decision making. Our work is backed by recognized professional designations and a commitment to the highest industry standards. Our founder, Zach Sharkey, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Missouri, and holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation. All reports are prepared in compliance with the AICPA’s Statement on Standards for Valuation Services (SSVS No. 1). He is also the author of ‘Business Valuation for Business Owners’; which helps business owners understand valuation fundamentals and avoid common mistakes.
